A Public 健康 minor provides you with an ecological perspective on the determinants of health that will benefit you in a future career as a health professional. You will develop skills in the use of data, assessing community needs and strengths, implementing evidence-based programs, and developing critical thinking skills regarding the determinants of health affecting a community. With a minor in public health you might seek careers in health/program administration, research with a focus on health issues, professions related to public health, 或者医疗保健. The minor is open to all undergraduate students at UNE.

The minor is offered through the Westbrook College of 健康的职业 and is administered through the WCHP Department of Public 健康. The minor is interdisciplinary in nature and draws courses from the following programs: Public 健康, 人类学, 生物学, 社会学, 政治科学, and Environmental Studies.
